| Question: i look after stray cats one i have looked after for about 8 mths she is about a year old, was gone for a week she came back today, she is having trouble breathing, her left eye is infected, she isnt cleaning herself or eating or drinking, i cant afford a vet but i wont throw her back outside either, i have given her water from a syringe, and a bit of wet food on my finger tip, i gave her a warm water bath, no soap, but she has lost weight, what can i do plz help. thnks Lyta I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but without an exam I can't recommend much more than what you are already doing. You might consider contacting your local humane society or animal shelter to see if they offer low cost veterinary care - often times they can help in situations like these. |
