| Question: Hello, I am in love with this kitty cat in our neighborhood, I feed him & love him daily..Well, that is when the people that claim to own him let him out of the house. I do not think they are fit to raise this cat as when they keep him indoors 1-5 days at a time he comes here very skinny and starving. I so desperately want to save this cat from his owners and bring him indoors & have him fixed and just give him the home & life he deserves on that note I need to know how to do this legaly so there are no issues with the neighbors. please tell me what I can do to help this kitty. Thanks! Helen The only way to do this legally is to have a conversation with the owners and ask them to reliquish ownership to you. Alternatively, if your area has regulations regarding outdoor cats, you may be able to have Animal Control pick him up, and then if the owners do not claim him in a certain period of time (which they might not if they do not want to pay to have him neutered), you can adopt him from there.
