QUESTIONS TO THE CAT EXPERTS:

Date: Jul 15, 2008
Question:
Hi, I have a beautiful cat who I rescued when he was just 4 weeks old. His mother was killed unfortunately. He is not the most affectionate cat, which I can understand, but he does bite and can be very aggressive. I really would like to stop the biting and aggressive behaviour. Any advice would be great. Thanks
Lee

I would definitely recommend a consultation with a veterinary behaviorist. Biting is not a behavior that can be tolerated in cats, as cat bites can be extremely dangerous. Contact your regular vet and they should be able to refer you to an appropriate specialist.
