Question:
Help! My cat is eating my sweaters!
Jean

Some cats just like to chew woolen items. Research says that this is caused by genes, and is more common with some cat breeds (such as Siamese and Birman). The reason for this is still not clear.

If you add more fiber to your cat's diet and mix 1 teaspoon of canned pumpkin per day into his meal, the appetite for your sweaters should disappear or at least reduce.

If nothing works, just keep your sweaters out of the reach of your cat!
