QUESTIONS TO THE CAT EXPERTS:

Date: Aug 28, 2008
Question:
I have a female brown tabby that i rescued from the side of the road 2 yrs ago she was around 3 or 4 months old then. she was a typical kitten playful energetic and happy but as shes gotten older she has become like she has a split personality and its getting worse. like take for instance awhile ago she was sweet and meowing wanting attention and i left the room and came back and went to pet her and she literally climbed me and this has been going on for the last 8 months or so. I have been considering taking her to the Animal Shelter but cant stand to think that they will put her down. What if anything can i do? She is not spayed or declawed nor has she ever been around other animals. she is a strictly indoor cat because of where i live.
Travis

Get her spayed - this will likely solve most of your problems. It sounds like you have a cat that is going into heat.
