| Question: my cat gave birth to her kittens on 08.08.08. and now my cat has been sleeping on the carpet rather than in the huge basket with her babies(sometimes steps in to feed them). Is there a possibility that there's something wrong with her when she does that? Kaspar After being in a confined space with several tiny ones feeding off of you and you constantly having to clean and take care of them, you want a break...that's how mother cats can feel sometimes. So as long as she is still nursing them and carrying out her motherly deeds, then she and the kittens should be fine. |
