Which cat food do you buy?
Posted by Rodrigo | Nov 24, 2007
The selection is so huge these days with countless pet food stores around. I am just curious which cat food other cat owners buy and why?

I think all cat food is pretty much the same - they all contain vitamins and minerals and supposedly do good things for cats. I don't support gourmet cat foods as I think cats really don't care!

I go for Whiskas and Kitekat products usually as they represent good value for money.

My cat deserves the best and I buy Gourmet Pearl and Sheba. Even if the cats don't care that much, I feel better as I feel I am giving them a treat and therefore it makes be a better cat-person.

I stay away from cat foods that contain a lot of corn - that doesn't contain any nutrients and is just a filler. So I would stay away from Science diet and Eukanuba.

I feed my cats usually Innova Evo and Nutro. You can buy this at Petco or Petsmart.

I only give Hill's Science Diet which I buy from my vet and pay big bucks.

This brand has never been recalled and it has been recommended to me by several vets and vet assistants through the years.

I agree, i only feed my cat Hills Science Diet, even though its kind of expensive its really worth it because my cat has never had health problems and goes to the vet only for regular checkups
