Keep the cat away from the mirrors :) If this only happens with mirrors, keeping the two apart seems to be the easiest solution

Cover the mirrors with cloth so Nala won't harm it. Or, like Peep mentioned, hide them. I hope Nala won't come to her conciousness and begin hunting the mirrors down, though! :)

My 7 year old cat, Nala, has recently discovered her reflection and she viciously strikes her reflection every time. She really thinks there is a cat out to get her. I can NOT believe this. She is the sweetest cat, always been a little ditsy but this is unbelievable. I even thought that if I held her up to a mirror with her (so she could see us both) that she would realize that its just her. She didn't , She viciously swatted at the mirror so badly that I let go of her because she was just so crazy.
Help, how can I fix this? Has this ever happened to anyone else?
