Declawing

Would like your input on getting your house cats declawed. The vet has told us there are 2 precedures he can do, so just wondering if anybody has had this done & which procedure did you go with.

I second Peep's answer. Declawing is bad for your cat, no doubt about that. If people say it's okay and fine, DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT. It gives cats great pain. Maybe this link will help:

Ok here's some helpful information... i have not had my cats declawed because i don't want to frighten them.. however, it is your decision!!! not ne one else's. idk what the two procedures are though.. but I'm sure your vet would have information for you to read if you need it... there is claw caps as an alternative
