Well you can (depend on age) go to the animal shelter and volunteer to help. Then u can maybe foster a pet at your house. ( ask parents first) if your parents don't want a cat after the foster then just deal with the fact. Or you can be EXTRA nice to ur parents! Wink Wink ;-)

I want to get a cat but my mom is not so sure, and my dad doesn't even know! How do I really show I'm responsible without showing them that getting a cat is the only reason i'm being good? Help!!!!
I know I could do chores, stuff for neighbors, Do really nice stuff to my parents, volunteer at the Dumb Friend League, etc. I'm just looking for more ideas!
